Just Curious, at what point does CIC verify work experience? Is it at background check or before background check?

AOR is January 28th and Medical was passed Feb 24th; BG in progress (1)

Hi,

I believe the work experience verification is done mostly at the BG-IP(1) stage as the major chunk of the background check happen in this stage

Hope this helps

Lesson learnt!
Having patience is key

Well at least, we now know how do they do about with the BG check

I wanted to know the difference between criminality and security?

Criminality is just your PCCs, that's all they are based on.

Security is requires check to verify if you've never been involved with organized crime, terrorism, etc...

I'm still glad I got them... but just expected to see some progress on eligibility at least! Ow well... will wait another 4 weeks for another set!

Yes, that's correct... And that's when the rejections due to mismatched NOCs or insufficiently good reference letters happens.

So, just got my GCMS notes and to my dismal surprise it really doesn't contain any useful information. That's what you get for ordering too soon I guess.

Criminality is passed and that's based purely on the PCCs, this was decided about 4 weeks after AOR.

Medicals Passed (but this I knew from the site).

Eligibility not started and security not started.

It seems that even though my AOR was on 7th Jan, they only started to look at it on the 8th of Feb!

Notes were issued on the 15th Feb and apparently my file was still at the CIO at that time.

Lessons learned: best to wait a good 2-3 months before ordering GCMS! ;)

I told you it was going to come in today, there it is.
So no R10 or A11.2 checks?

Was it printed out before your background check changed to not needed?

i'm hoping ordering another set of notes won't be necessary and crossing my fingers that in 4 weeks instead of notes we receive PPRs ;D

Thursday now. Wonder if any movement will happen before week ends. Almost two weeks since BG IP

Hi!!
I checked my account today and BG has changed from NS to NN. Does that mean my file is being already transferred to my VO? Or that will happen only if BG turns to IP?

Review of eligibility IP
Review of medical results Passed (15/fev/2017)
Review of submitted documents NN
Scheduling an interview NN
A background check is needed NN (NN => NS => NN)
Final decision NS

Thanks!

It was printed around 5 days after the BC changed back to NN.

So I'm a little confused about the R10 to be honest. The last note says:
** Agent Review ** POLICE CERTIFICATE R10 OK All Police Certificates on Application; All NRT so Criminality is Passed...[then it goes on to talk about ECAs etc..]

I'm not sure if this R10 OK means R10 is Passed or not. I've seen certain notes were they specifically say stuff like R10 assessment passed...

Take it positive, you got something to make waiting bearable. Now you can order next set. Maybe next time you will also see, which is your LVO. 8)

That is actually your preliminary R10 pass. So you are on a good track there.

That's disappointing! Sorry to hear that... :) Are you going to order new ones in about a week or so? Never mind, just read your other answers! I'd just keep ordering them, at least it helps pass the time...lol

Yes this is your R10 check. Things seems to be on track.

Any application assignment due date?
