So I heard back in regards to my GCMS notes, I'm not sure what to make out of the email I got:

Any suggestions and/or thoughts?

When did you request your file?

I think you selected the wrong things when making the request... You did this yourself for $5, right? You'll need to look for a more specific GCMS thread as I think you needed to either check more boxes or different boxes to what you checked.

Since I'm outland I have to order through a service and they do all the checking of boxes and selecting options for me... One of the perks of paying $30 instead of $5 I guess.

Looks like the start logging GCMS notes after a certain stage which your file didn't get to yet. Your meds are still not passed yea? Might be wrong

Lol true I did hear about the OINP mess.

The sad part is, they have everything under their control and still screw it many things up. That is well - no comments :p

Anyway, as you said, Oct-Nov folk are getting PPRs very fast. I saw a December guy get PPR in late January. So fingers crossed

Lol, hopefully the people with CRS 400-450 do not see this message :P

That being said, we would have to assume they have thought this through lol and are fully equipped to meet the 6 month timelines.

The unique thing with this process is there is absolutely no uncertainty or variability for the IRCC. Unlike other service industries, this whole process is totally under their control. They control the number of draws, the number of invites everything. If they ever feel they are getting bogged down, they can easily just slow down. And IRCC can change rules, intake numbers whenever they feel like anyway.

What scares me is that we have no idea whether IRCC is coordinated with the Local Visa Offices and the goverment... I mean, are the local visa offices aware of the high number of invitations that IRCC is giving? Is the goverment giving the local visa offices more funds to hire more staff for processing the increasing number of applications?

It's easy for IRCC to make adjustments and decisions on the go. What doesn't seem easy is coordinating the local visa offices who are the ones that in the end do all the work for outland applicants.

On another note, at this rate if I would have waited a year perhaps I wouldn't have even needed to go through the horror that OINP was and may have gotten a direct ITA :-X

Woohoo!! Medical just changed to "Passed"!! One month after AOR! So happy to see the progress, good luck to all others who are waiting for medicals. :P

That is a good point. Clearly there is a lot more coordination of efforts and capacity planning needed to meet increased workload across the globe.

What's your current status?
Medicals? Background checks etc?

If you have seen no movement whatsoever, they probably have not started working on your file. This is the reason why it is still at the express entry stage.

December AOR and PPR in January, this person must be lucky!!

Hope mine gets processed soon too

What the heck is going on with CIC? CEC applicants with e-AOR from Jan 1 - Jan 10 were totally missed with Medical exam passes >:( >:( It seems like they just picked up the stack of applications from Jan 11 and are currently working upwards.

I mean I happy for everyone who is getting some movement, but can't help it to be super frustrated....

If there is anything we learnt so far, they do not process applications FIFO clearly. all random. They pick a bunch from a certain time frame and work. random people work on random time frames at random times #random

December CEC folk going from BG to PPR in two days :D

Seeing so many Dec AOR - Feb BG IP - 2 days later PPR - crazy speeds

Unscientific observation but I am seeing December AOR folk moving the fastest so far, and November close second

Yes, I am getting frustrated too... What going on ??
#random >:(

Does anyone know if applications for PNP-Inland usually take longer than CEC or FSW? I received AOR on Jan 1 but still got no progress at all.
