Hi Seniors

Please suggest..
Today its 22nd day after submitting my application.
Still medicals status remains unchanged.
Is this the usual stuff or how long does it take for medicals to change status.
Bit worried now. :(
Please give your inputs

Regards
Prasanna

Do you get an email when medical is passed? Or do you have to keep checking your profile for updates?

Watching our tracker makes me feel like CIC started to work with our applications like on assembly line :D

Hi Friends,

I would like to share some of my updates here,

Category : CEC Inland
AOR Received : January 13, 2017

A background check is needed: In progress.........

Lets Hope for the best...

Good luck to everyone..

It seems like CEC has pick up the pace and gotten ahead of the rest of the streams :)

Yesterday when I received an update on my medicals I didn't receive an email right way. I checked my status because someone in my whatsapp group mentioned his update. This morning I then received an email. So it took about 12 hours from online update to actual email notification.
Saying that it makes sense to check your profile once a day (don't overdo it - it's just painful!)

Thats the exact reason, I am not getting the GCMS notes, I heard the notes are one month old.

Yeah, of course with CIC you never know, they can do what ever, but the trend is NN-NS-NN = R10 done.
For now I am just hoping it is done, and my VO is just lazy to update it, hoping this week or the next to see it updated.

Too early for GCMS, also I heard they get locked when they receive the request and they reach you 2-3 weeks later, meaning not that up to date after all. Will try to hold myself a little bit more, at least till I get NN-NS-NN, and then see which VOC will be assigned too, even though usually it is Ottawa for CEC, unless they are overflowing with Applications which might be the case.

Let's C.

Ah! Perfect, thanks :)

Finally medical passed on 18th Feb 2017

BG check is changed from NN to IP.

I am also a CEC applicant here.
Got Med passed yesterday (Feb 20th).
But for BG check, instead of went from NN -> IP, mine went from NN -> NS.
Is this normal for CEC stream?
