So yesterday, CIC requested for my CELPIP test results, which I uploaded immediately.

Today I get an email saying my application has been updated, but no visible changes to my application.

I'm guessing this is the famous ghost email. How many days after this should I expect changes on my application?

Trying to stay positive.

Can someone give me a timeline please?

I suggest you check December CEC Applicants on the tracker: https://myimmitracker.com/en/ca/trackers/aor-december-2016-permanent-residency-tracker
From there filter by CEC Stream and you can get an idea on how long updates should take :)

The email you got was for the CELPIP request, it gets delivered a day later for some reason, so chill, there is no ghosts around lol.

Regarding timeline, as above, you can check tracker to get an idea, however it could be anywhere from 5 days to 1 month, but chances are it would be days, since they already started looking at your file, so hope for the best, and good luck.

Well it means that they started checking R10, 11.2......so it means something I guess, in my case they didn't even bother yet.

I just want my R10 checked and I can wait after that.

Generally we see the change back to NN is an indicator of R10 done.
But it's not universal, some R10 agent may not give us an update on our system at all. Plus from some GCMS notes, medical and R10 are checked together. So we can't really figure out everything based on the status change on our end except ordering GCMS notes.

But i do feel you, being a little different from the general trend sucks.

Yeah, of course with CIC you never know, they can do what ever, but the trend is NN-NS-NN = R10 done.
For now I am just hoping it is done, and my VO is just lazy to update it, hoping this week or the next to see it updated.

Too early for GCMS, also I heard they get locked when they receive the request and they reach you 2-3 weeks later, meaning not that up to date after all. Will try to hold myself a little bit more, at least till I get NN-NS-NN, and then see which VOC will be assigned too, even though usually it is Ottawa for CEC, unless they are overflowing with Applications which might be the case.

Let's C.

I wasn't suggesting ordering notes at all.
I was suggesting just let it be. ;D
No news is good news for a couple months once medical is passed. ;D

Trust me ordering notes don't need any suggestions, is in our minds by default, it is second nature, it's like checking your account status all the time. It's like we are all on drugs or something.

No news = Yes / No movement = No.

Did you know that some on our Jan batch got PPR already, that is insane.!!!

Hi guys,

Just got the update that my medicals passed! Also of course: BG in process.
First steps in a very good direction :)
Now I just hope that all my documents are fine.

Woohoo! I'm very happy right now!

Still no any update. CEC outland, AOR Jan 3. Very worried.

Relax, the norm is 50-70 days for Medical to pass for CEC, check all previous threads and you will see for yourself.
Yes some of us got lucky and they got it earlier, not a big deal. Just chill and wait, you will make it too.

Overall, you will catch up with others, as it takes 3-4 months for CEC to get PPR (assuming all docs ok).

So for now, just relax and don't worry.

Good luck.
