London, quite often is notoriously quick - have seen few most quickest pprs from them.
G126, do you have any idea if we loose our OINP nomination in case our application gets cancelled? I mean, do we get to create a new EE profile and ask OINP to transfer the points, or do we just loose it all? I don't wanna sound negative and I'm really trying hard to ignore this possibility, but it keeps coming back to me... :g126 said:Guys, someone posted this on a whatsapp group and I found it quite useful, so here it is (apologies if this has already been posted in the forum, but I've not seen it):
yeah, i'm quite worried as you are. i keep reading about refusals for very dumb reasons - just read one where CIC didn't like the reference letters because it failed to name all duties (very dumb reason in my opinion..).maribui said:G126, do you have any idea if we loose our OINP nomination in case our application gets cancelled? Glad to hear I'm not alone in this... Hopefully, we won't need to see how this might go, since we'll be too busy starting our new lives as PRs in CANADA!nmuntz said:yeah, i'm quite worried as you are. i keep reading about refusals for very dumb reasons - just read one where CIC didn't like the reference letters because it failed to name all duties (very dumb reason in my opinion..).
Anyway, you can ask OINP to transfer your nomination to a new profile. You won't lose your nomination because you were refused before.
However, I have heard that OINP style, the nomination transfer can take a while...
Congratulations! London VO is pretty fast!Gladossy said:Thank you.
After several tries I finally got through and confirmed my file has been transferred to London Visa office.
AFAIK nominations are valid for 6 months, so as long as you reapply within that time period (6 months from the date your certificate is issued) you should be able to get the NOM transferred to a new profile... having said that I've heard that depending on the reason for cancelation or refusal OINP may decid not to transfer the NOM. From that I've half concluded that if it's cancelled you should be ok, if it's refused you may have trouble getting it transferred.maribui said:G126, do you have any idea if we loose our OINP nomination in case our application gets cancelled? The know what you mean, but think about it... OINP have already vetted our reference letters, so I think IRCC won't look twice at those. Our biggest problem is PCCs and medicals (which is not done at PNP level) so long as we have those covered the rest will be okay.nmuntz said:yeah, i'm quite worried as you are. i keep reading about refusals for very dumb reasons - just read one where CIC didn't like the reference letters because it failed to name all duties (very dumb reason in my opinion..).

I've been meaning to ask you about that... did you know why your profile became illegible? Once it becomes illegible is it not possible to just fix it? Do you have to create a new one?maribui said:Glad to hear I'm not alone in this... Hopefully, we won't need to see how this might go, since we'll be too busy starting our new lives as PRs in CANADA!
BTW, I've been through this before with OINP and my points got transfered in 17 days (Christmas and new years right in the middle), so it wasn't too bad I guess... My profile became ineligible 3 days after OINP nomination and I had to creat a new one.
yes nominations will be transferred even if the application is refused. The only reason it will not be transferred is for rejection due to Inadmissibility and criminality which provinces do not check. for all other reasons they will transfer. nothing to panic for 6 months. And if it is for Inadmissibility or criminality then reapplying has no scope. so nomination is always transferred.maribui said:G126, do you have any idea if we loose our OINP nomination in case our application gets cancelled?
