i have a question haunting my mind, i havent uploaded my resume or scanned IELTS marksheet ( just the scores/dates/reference number) , i have uploaded the WES report though along with edu. documents.

can anyone put some light on what impact this might have on the application, and whether i should submit a CSE.

IMO resume is not needed but you should raise a CSE and upload your IELTS report.

Judging by the flags we use, I think we would be in different LVOs (NDVO for u and HKVO for me), but good luck to both of us! :P

Yes our local visa office will be differenct, but the one in Canada might just be the same and he or she is working on the files simultaneously.

You will probably be asked to upload your IELTS at some stage, so might as well be proactive and submit via CSE I suppose. But don't worry about getting a rejection for this, as IELTS is not a required document to upload, the most they can do is ask you to submit it later on... If you wait you'll have the added benefit of knowing when someone has started to look at your file, as they should request this early on... The rest of us just sit idly hoping and praying for a status change to know that.

Nice job Andy! Good to see lots of people are joining the tracker!

Not sure if this is possible but on the month tracker the graph you posted, would be nice to see a color KEY sorted by status (AOR, Meds Passed, etc.) ;)

Hey guys, any idea why CIC is taking so long to clear medicals? Earlier it used to be cleared in 2 days to a week after AOR?

My guess is that ITA's have increased dramatically during December and January and they are not able to cope with so many applications.

Good question, normally inland people take a while, but that's not your case!

I'd probably go with that reason too... CIO is probably overwhelmed with the shear number of ITAs we've had since mid November!

Not exactly. It takes some time for people who got ITA to react. So the worst is yet to come for them. Those December and January invitations will translate into January till March higher influx of applicants.
I would even guess, that heaviest month will be January or February.

The way they cope with it, is to forward the application to the local offices as soon as possible.

Agreed that it takes time, but they started ramping up their ITA numbers in September... By the end of October they had already issued the largest draw ever at that stage with 1800+ ITAs. November alone over 5000 ITAs! And most if not all of these people have already submitted their documents and got their AOR (remember, it was half way through Nov that they changed the rules and ITAs began having 90 days to submit, before it was 60).

So I'm thinking that the people at the CIO are probably dealing with the highest number of AORs they've ever had to deal with and it's still growing as DEC and JAN we've had huge draws...
