Hi Everyone,

I had a group throughout the whole provincial nomination process and have felt lost without one since ITA. So glad I have found this group, can someone please add me to the Whatsapp group 447432098262. Timeline below:

Points: 1000
Ontario Provincial Nomination: 15th December 2016
ITA Received: 17th December 2016
E-APP Submitted : 17th January 2017
AOR Received: 17th January 2017

After a heavy 11 months going through the nomination process, I have really high hopes that this one will be a little shorter :)

Thank you!
The thing is, I am 28 years old and I never thought about BP before.
I do have Generalized Anxiety though and I am getting treated for it, according to the cardiologist, my high BP is because of this anxiety.
As long as it's under control and there is no serious heart/kidney problem that requires surgery in the next 5 years, there is no reason to be rejected.

BP is one of those issues people tend to ignore at a younger age, especially since it can be asymptomatic, like in my case. Never felt the need to go have a check it because I never suffered from symptoms that might come from high BP.

Maybe u should adjust ur diet? East less salt and have more vegetable, fruit and water? At least this is what is recommended by doctors in China. Wish u a smooth application and good health!

Good luck to you! You are nearing your goal!

I have been meaning to add my name to the tracker but keep forgetting, will do soon. Update as of today -

AOR - 7 Jan
Medicals passed - 18 Jan
Review of submitted documents - No additional documents are needed at this time
Scheduling an interview - Not needed at this time
A background check is needed - Not started
Final decision - Not Started

Is it that they check medicals before ensuring all docs have been submitted?

I would say the average clearance for Medical Exams is about 2 weeks from AOR.
You are supposed to get email alerts for every change in your account, but people have reported changes without getting any emails, or even worse, people have reported IRCC requesting additional docs without any emails. I suggest you keep checking manually and also check the next page every once in a while.

Hey Thanks for your suggestion .......yes I noticed today that there are changes in profile without sending mail....and also will suggest all to keep checking there CIC profile as hope they are not sending mails (this is my personal opinion)....below are my recent update....

Application Status changed to

Application/profile status - Open
Review of eligibility - Review in Progress
Review of medical results - Not needed at this time
Review of submitted documents - No additional documents are needed at this time (Earlier Blank)
Scheduling an interview - Not needed at this time
A background check is needed - Not Started (Earlier Not needed at this time)
Final decision - Not Started

Hm, maybe because I have a LMIA? Not sure why yours is blank. But I guess that's with most of the people here.

I'll be nervous for the next 6 months I guess...my poor stomach!

It seems like that applicants from Western Europe get processed quicker, so maybe not 6 month...

Good luck!

Right I've a complex question for you... hehehe.

My wife and I both reside in Brazil and have Brazilian passports that require VISA, but we both have EU passports that are VISA exempt. So... When we get PPR will they request out Brazilian passports and issue us the maple leaf visa or just CoPR and tell us to usa our EU passports?

Any idea about PPR and people already with dual citizenship?

I'm expecting them to consider our Brazilian passports as primary and give us our VISAs on that... but hey... sometimes I fell like we need to expect the unexpected from IRCC.

You send the passport you have entered information in your PR application. CIC asked you to enter the passport you will use to travel thus for landing (they only asked one).
You use that passport. It doesn't matter where you reside, it has to be the passport you mentioned in your application.
I have 3 nationalities so I just decided to use my US passport as I am exempted to get a VISA (even though the other nationalities don't require VISA either!).

Hi Guys

For the people who submitted there E-APP

Concerning to the photos should we scan an A4 Format and keep the same size requested 35mm*45mm or we scan from an original with the same size but send it bigger for the immigration?
