Well it didn't used to be like this, apparently a year ago PNP's had the fast track...

When you look at it PNPs have to do an extra check, in the A11.2 IRCC needs to confirm with the province if everything is OK with the nomination (this is where such PNP as OINP that have minimum criteria like remaining above 400 CRS will recheck to see if the candidate still meets the criteria).

Now, my guess is that in the past CIC were less thorough with the standard checks (like duties vs NOC, funds etc.) that the province already verified, where as now their are being just as thorough with PNPs as with the other classes so since PNP have an extra check they/we take longer. :(

It seems that we're in for a long wait my friend.

Maybe it's a good idea to forget about the PR application for a couple of months

Since 'Review of Documents ' is Provided, you might have asked for some additional documents and you provided that..

what was the documents asked additionally??

The only document I was asked for was the imm5475 form..basically my representative's details.

Do you think it makes sense if I order GCMS before any change in my application (even medical is not passed yet)?

I am inland so it will cost me only 5 dollars.

What is the point? You want notes to show something right? ordering them for the sake of it does not benefit you...

Hey guys,

I am FSW Outland applicant, AOR date 07/01/2017.
Still no updates from CIC, nothing about medicals.

Anyone in the same boat? Looks like almost everyone here (with AORs at the start of Jan) have already passed Medicals.

Hi,

I have the same time lines as your AOR- 7th jan ....medicals still not passed.... Dont know whats really happening and there is no patterns these ppl follow for us to judge timeline.... lot of there processing seems random in nature and therefore leading applicants to get nervous and order more GCMS

Guys, its too soon to worry about anything. It has hardly been a month since you applied. 6 months is the standard processing time.

For inland applicants (and outland applicants from the US), it might take up to 2 months for Medicals to be set to PASSED. So, sit back and enjoy.

I can understand, that worry at this moment is following:
1. What if they find something fishy in my medical results (here can help to contact the doctor which did your medicals and ask, if all was ok)
2. Second big worry is, what if application will be cancelled (documents are not good enough). With medical passed it usualy signalise, that all is ok.

So it is normal to ask those questions. What is a bit more relaxing is to see that they are not left behind, and that there is still good amount of others with same status.

I can understand the worry too (I waited 11 months for nomination). Through my previous post, I attempted to convey that this is very common (it has HARDLY been a month since AOR for them) and assured that they will see their meds pass in due time.

One other thing one can be worried about is so that Federal part will not catch "Ontario illness". (Ontario had something like 90 days promise beginning of 2016, and how it ended up - it was not 90 working days, but more like after 90 Saturdays and Sundays).

LOL! True!
