I got a reply to the CSE I raised two days ago. Here it is. Looks like a long wait.....

This application is under review for background verifications. These can be lengthy and we are not in a position to provide a timeframe. Please rest assured that we will contact you as soon as the background verifications are completed.

Today I called CIC and they told almost the same thing! AOR 10th PNP Inland

Post PPR... We are from a visa exempt country. They ask you to upload photocopies of passport and the PR letter to your my CIC account. However we don't seem to have an option to upload anything new. Where exactly and how exactly do we do this?

Got my GCMS notes today; generated July 26. The only difference I could see between the latest notes and the ones generated May 19 is that the secondary office has changed from Central Intake Office to Abu Dhabi. No additional officer notes.

PPR!!!!:) What a journey?! I think my wait was even harder because almost 2 months ago they told me I was approved, yet still no PPR (like they were dangling it in front of me...lol). VO is Kingston. You guys would have seen that 2 days ago I raised a CSE - not sure if that triggered it b/c I still haven't gotten a reply and my app status is still IP2. Either, if you've passed the 6 mth timeline it doesn't hurt to raise a CSE. Good luck to everyone waiting - it's just a matter of time.

Hi....First of all congratulations for the PPR...........Could you please tell me what was the reason for the delay ??? Because I am Feb 01 2017 applicant and my 6 months already finished few days ago.........I got the GCMS notes on July 12 2017 and it was generated on July 05 2017.......Everything seems OK in my GCMS........Eligibility :- Recommended Pass.......When I email them they replied that they need to do additional verification !!! Many people stuck in security and that is the reason why the processing time goes beyond 6 months But in my case I am not stucked in security........So do you have any idea about what could be the reason for delaying ???

Thanks. I have no idea. I called CIC twice and both times they told me "Congratulations" and basically said my file is just sitting in Ottawa waiting for the "go ahead" to be transferred to a VO (I'm paraphrasing). I just assumed it's just fate - maybe the Officer processing my app. went on a long vacay or sthg. lol. Hang in there, the wait will soon be over.
