Hi

I had a question with regards to the settlement funds which are currently shown in a Savings account. Once one receives the COPR and the Visa stamp, can it be moved out to a fixed deposit account or another deposit options since the requirements for the PR/Visa were met?

Thanks

It's not my pr I'm complaining about. My r10 hasn't been done because I didn't pass criminality for so long, which means I can't get my bridging visa and my current visa ends soon. I know the security is out of CIC's control, but the r10 isn't.
AFAIK you are free to apply for a BOWP at any time, if your PR application is on the works then they will hold issuing your visa until your R10 is passed. During this time you'll be in implied status, which although not ideal is perfectly legal.

When you say you can't get your BOWP do you mean you've tried and got rejected or have you not bothered yet because you know your R10 is still pending?

FSW-O, CRS score 484, ITA Nov 2016, AOR - Jan 23rd 2017. Our background check changed to in process today 2nd June 2017. Not sure if its IP1 or IP2..
Let's wait and watch. At least there is some activity..

Most likely it is IP2. Soon you'll get that most awaited PPR.
Best of luck

IP2 last night, no PPR yet

Congrats. I'm sure you had a big smile on when you saw the update :)
I sure did! Was just hoping to get it last night. Still a little worried as people have been declined in ip2 recently!

Lol.. Congrats to you. That was a long one for CEC inland. Must have been tough seeing others get theirs months ago. Glad it finally came through :)

Same here; CEC inland, AOR 8-Jan-2017, 3 family members, me, wife and a kid. Last update was on 14th March, when my status changed from not needed to "we are processing your background".
Had GCMS notes on 25th May, Everything for me and son appears to be ok, but there was no information for wife, I think they hide it. So I have applied GCMS notes for her now to see where we are?

I think application is stuck because of my wife's previous work experience. I had attached her experience letters, but there were no duties etc in those as required by CIC. Called CIC, and they wont tell me status of my wife's application.

Fingers crossed, waiting and praying..

Her letter didn't include her job description? Hmmm that's a tough one as that's one of the major reasons for rejection. However, hopefully that will not be your case. Just keep praying and keep the hopes high.

Who else has got Schedule 4 request recently? (for all PNP applicants)

And also, for FSW/ outland applicants, the PPR would be sent by CIO or local VO?

Hello,

It says We are processing your background check, we will send you a message if we need more information.

:) I would love to get more clarification for IP1 and IP2, it has been a bit confusing. But oh well, the PPR will come when it has to anyway :) Thank you for your reply.. Hope you get yours soon too.
