Basically in my work permit say that I work for A....ex and the offer of employment says A....ex Inc. , so it doesn't match for them .

Seen the las draw I have now 459 points , so hopefully this week it comes another draw, I already make a new profile without arranged employment .

That's weird....What sort of work permit do you have?

That is such a small thing... how can they refused for that? So scary!

It's me , I got refused because of the arrange of offer of employment , they said that doesn't match the name of my company in my work permit with the one of my offer of employment so , they deducted the 50 points , and my score went below of the draw I was invited.

Sorry to here about this rejection. I see you also reached IP2, all the more shocking to receive the rejection this late in the process.
IP2 doesnt necessarily mean PPR anymore. Can mean rejection is near.

I find it a bit weird too. Maybe there's something else going on. If they were that strict, we would see a LOT more refusals. I've never heard of a refusal for this reason.

Hi All,

I have received a Procedural Fairness letter from CIC regarding my employment. I am employed by a small Consulting firm which operates from a Home location where the employees work form the client location which applies to me. In my offer letter and employment letter it was specifically mentioned that I work with client XXX at XXX location and I have attached my approved time sheets from the Client, t4, pay slips.

AOR: 09 FEb
Med: passed
BG: NA
BOWP :Approved

Note from CIC:

I note that you appear to be employed by an IT consulting company, however, the business address
provided in the letter of employment in open sources yields a residential dwelling with no signs of any
business operating from the address I also note that the contact number provided does not appear to be
associated with the employer when searched in open sources. Lacking this basic knowledge of the
business, there is insufficient evidence to confirm that you have performed the declared duties.
Based on the information noted above, I have concerns that you have been employed in the position you
declared and that you have performed the duties claimed in the letter of employment.
In addition to allaying the concerns noted above, please submit: relevant company information and an
organizational chart for the business that includes all staff and their position titles.


If anybody has faced this situation, please suggest me how to go ahead with this.

It shocked me too, but I think I know what happened here. According to DannyMC8710's previous posts, he\she was on an IEC Working Holiday permit, which is an open work permit. To claim 50 arranged employment points, you need to be on an employer specific work permit (LMIA or LMIA exempt). I think that is what caused the refusal. The officer couldn't match the company on the offer letter to the one on the work permit.

Guys but hear out my problem -

March 1st CIC requested Scheduled A and personal History - i submitted within a weak

April 4th CIC requested RCMP criminal record check - submitted with a weak

on April 25th i again got request for newly filled Scheduled A form - I was confused why again anyways i was filling and about to submit but before that they sent Passport request email. Well in spite of that i submitted Scheduled A today because they asked for it at first place. But whats next guys? should i wait a week or 2 to get response of my schedlued A from CIC if they have any more confusions??

Hi Avani... This is quite tricky situation for u but I believe u should send ur passport for stamping as u have already received PPR... & u have also submitted ur Schedule A form, the ball is in CIC's court now... If there will be anything remaining/pending then CIC will contact u regarding it... So as per my suggestion, You should send ur passport

same with u. Still BG 1 and no update since then

Schedule A was requested 31st March, sent it on 2nd April after filling the whole thing and signing it. Still BG IP(1) and Meds Passed, and no update since then. CEC-Outland.
