i think its fair to say if anyone gets a reply saying your file is being processed in NS or in Ottowa... thats as good as an out of office reply and can be ignored...
I believe you. i have sent mail to Ottawa twice and got same response of "the application is at CIO Sydney Nova Scotia"Canada_eh! said:IGNORE THE EMAIL......I REPEAT.....IGNORE THE EMAIL
THE EMAILS CANNOT BE RELIED ON
Compare your progress with others of the same stream and AOR date(-/+5 to 10days) that will give you a better idea or where your file stands
Did you send mail twice to them same day? wondering why you got two replieschandra415 said:I got 2 replies on the same day. 1 says is being processed at CPC Sydney, other one says will be preocessed at CPC Ottawa, So i thought not to trust the email
Congrats! Do you know your visa office? And can you please post your timeline?nmuntz said:Guys, I'm happy to report that I have gotten my PPR!!!
My only problem right now is trying to figure out how to get a pre-paid envelope from an international courier so that they can send me my COPR.
Fedex and DHL say it's not possible to do it without an account. And in order to have an account you must be a company, they won't do it for a regular citizen. Any ideas?
hey legalfalcon how are you... havent seen you on the threads for a while...legalfalcon said:While most of you must have got your PR or must be very close to getting it. One of the best tools which everyone is aware of is GCMS notes, the only accurate way to predict what is happening with your application. Some of you know me and some of you have approached me to help you with answering your questions. I request that when you apply for GCMS next, consider ordering from them from https://www.getgcms.com[/b]]https://www.getgcms.com.

This is exactly the same timeline as mine. FSW Outland. BG still in NA. mailed CIC, same responseYamen.Baza said:Hi Guys,
i Need Advice please,
I am FSW Outland
My AOR 21 Jan,2017
Medical Passed 8 Feb 2017
BG Not Applicable ( i was not checking the BG at the beggining, and i start at 15 Feb, and since then its NA)
i sent email to ask about the situation of the file, and i got the below reply
Dear Sir/ Madam,
Please note that your application is at the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa and is being processed as per our regulatory timeline. Please note that we cannot confirm when your file will be ready for finalization.
We do not require any information from you at the present time. An officer will contact you if further information is required.
My Question is : is that mean the file not yet transferred to the VO ? or it means the file will be processed in Ottawa till the End!
i thank all who can advise me about my situation.
Why is that good? Does a mail from CIC mean there is a problem? how long does it take to change to IP2? Hoping PPR is received before end of April cos I will relocate in Maykumar30 said:Normal... and it is good if you havent received any emails from CIC...

How have you been?
You can also get them for free under the privacy act from the CIC.legalfalcon said:While most of you must have got your PR or must be very close to getting it. its already there, have a look:vensak said:It would also nice to see some comparisons according to Visa Office and regions (some like NDVO are big enough for alone standing statistics, but others have just 2 to 3 people in the tracker and from that no good statistics is possible).
Awesome . Congrats.CA123456 said:Got my PPr mail yesterday...
