I have a question for everybody who can name the date of status change. Are we supposed to get email notification of background check update, such as ns-ip-na. Many thanks

You do not get updates for background check except the initial one that comes when your medicals have passed

Genrally, when there is Background status change there is no email notification(as per trend)

Hope this helps

It goes to Ottawa for final review. Being at CIO means you're still basically at the first step.

It say "Case Processing Centre: Sydney, Nova Scotia" not CIO"

that was my concern, hence the confusion

Oh my bad. Usually goes to CPC instead of ottawa due to caseloads etc

But my question remains as in whats happening with my file/application..like will it even go to Ottawa? or what will happen next?(i completely understand its difficult to predict this)

But if any expert could shed light on what can be expected next...it really help me understand stuff better

I don't think so. Your application will be processed as if it were at Ottawa, but your LVO is sydney!

Hi, I am CEC AOR Jan 9. I submitted Schedule A on Mar 17 and my BC changed from NA to IP. Is there any chance that my application will be rejected after that?

You are going to get passport submission request in few days...

Rejection will happen only if submitted document is not satisfactory... And Rejection email come quicker...

Firstly, be positive!

No one can predict the outcome of your application

It all depends on your case and the docs you have provided

The fact that cic asked you for additional docs and you provided the same means everything is going well

Just hope for the best and you should get your PPR soon

All the best

I dont think so, I called CIC last Friday, they said my file is still at Sydney, and I asked when it will be transferred to Ottawa, they have no idea on that. So I assume, once my BG change to NA, that will be the date of file transfer to ottawa
