lol, I am not sure I feel you maybe ahead of me timeline wise. I will go to NN and then another IP per what you mentioned earlier. Being a single applicant who has not traveled much outside of home country and canada with just 1 year of claimed workex, my application is as straightforward as it gets. And yet, cant tell.

Seeing this forum, I am amazed at some of the other complex applications with spouses and kids, divorces, seperations, extensive travel history needing so many PCCs. That must be nerve wracking really
You MAY go into NN and then IP again... or you may get PPR... impossible to predict really. In my case, I've not seen IP once... Still I'm looking at the 6 month mark so low expectations for the time being!

That is a good plan really. Setting a 6 month expectation. But everyone (I am guilty of it too at times) is now expecting PPR in 2-3 months because of what happened to Nov and Dec candidates lol

Do you know how much time it takes them to request for RRPF we dont pay upfront?
It widely varies, I received my RPRF request in exactly 1 month, paid on 24 Feb and waiting, nothing since then. Some get it in 4-5 months, some get it in month/month and a half. After RPRF, for some its all done withing a month where for some it takes 4-5 months or more to come PPR. It widely varies, hard to find a pattern or come to a conclusion.

What is interesting, and a good decision in my opinion is, CIC is now issuing PPR and RPRF in one go as seen in Nov and Dec thread. The chances of people not paying RPRF once PPR is issued is very very low so its a good way to speed up an unnecessarily long step

To be honest I've only seen this with MSAZAM and no one else... not sure if it's a new NORM or just sheer luck on his behalf... But it shows that what was once sequencial (R10 then A11.2 then RFPR then security) is now parallel (security is started right after CRIMINALITY is PASSED at the beginning. I think that maybe if by the time they get to RFPR security is done, then they issue both together...

So I guess my A11.2 check is not cleared yet? Because, I am still waiting for rprf.

Hello,
I sent an email to find out or was my record, and they answered me that he was in Ottawa... disappointment I hoped in Paris
Do not worry. It takes a bit for provinces to confirm their PNP (for example Ontario december spreadsheet came mid of February).
They only tranfer files to LVO after they complete that check. So your file is still at CIO. thats all

Thanks mate, Is there any average time? like 1 month or 2? and What does IP stands for?
For most CEC applicants, their background check goes IP (in progress) after a month after AOR, some longer.

Hi guys, been following this forum for a while now, but 1st post, got a question regarding police clearance.

I received my AOR on the 22nd of Jan, 2017 under the CEC, I am currently out the country, back in my home country due to work permits expiring etc.

My medicals are marked as passed as of the 27th feb, 2017 and my background check reads: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

Any ideas on time frames and what are the chances that I will be asked for an RCMP police check? I lived in Canada for about 7 and a half years from 2008 - early 2016 as a student and then as on a work permit.

Just want to cover my bases in case they ask for one, but I don't want to seek one out unnecessarily.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I'm wearing the same shoes as you. Single applicant, graduated from college here, been working going on 3 years now. Plus I left my home country only after 6 months of turning 18. And have only been to the US a couple times, one to visit family and another to go to 6 flags lol :D. I don't see what's taking so long.
