Congrats!
Does BG first change from NS to NN and then to IP?
Mine is BG IP right now and I didnot notice if it has bee NN. I think initially it was NS (am I right?) and then I checked it only when I was IP.

My BG went from NS straight to IP when medicals passed. That was Feb 20th. Since then no update.

BG changed to NN today From NS on FEb 15

Have you submitted RCMP upfront? Because I understood based on different cases in other threads that BG status is NN->NS when we submit RCMP upfront.

Could you also please confirm, if you submit RCMP upfront?

This is the trend I have been noticing for many cases. When we submit RCMP upfront, after medical status changed to PASSED, the BG status is getting changed from NN->NS whereas for others it is from NN->IP. I may not 100% correct. But this is the trend that I'm hearing from all of those who submitted RCMP upfront. This info with give small relief for those who were worried why their status is different with others.

Hoping that we all will get that golden email (PPR) Soon. :)

lol that is a weird trend. Not sure what it means, but anyway, if BG status changes usually you're in the final lap unless something goes awry

I have seen your tracker and your BG status was In progress. I believe you didn't submit RCMP report upfront? Were you?

No I didn't. Sorry what I meant to say is that is an intriguing observation about upfront RCMP and non upfront RCMP. Wonder why that happens.

And I did upload a PCC from Toronto. Although in the end if visa officer has any doubts he will ask for an RCMP check even with that PCC present

Hi guys,

How to find out the Visa Office location when we submitted our online application through Express Entry ? I am located in Toronto.

That's interesting!

I submitted RCMP and after my medical changed to PASSED on Feb 21, my BG status changed from NN >> NS

Will they request RCMP check if you lived in Canada? I'm thinking of doing it. It seems that at Commissionaires you can get in less than 48h.
What about fingerprints?

Yes, at a later date IRCC will request for PCC with fingerprints, if you live in Canada.
