In my case, my profile did not show "Updated" even though the wording for Background Check changed inside. After about 7 days (yesterday), I saw the profile was updated but didn't see any changes. Then the same night, PPR email was triggered.

Current Processing:
*Overall, i am not seeing a lot of activity from CIC, there have been many rumours about mass IP2 indicator, but it never yielded anything much. If anything at all.


PPRs by Visa Office:
*Ottawa is leading with the most number of PPRs, some other VO are doing not bad too, NDVO is quite sleepy at this stage.

*I can't say that there is any increase in number of PPRs... the strange this is that there are not too many rounds this year compared with last year... and a thus number of PPRs is not growing, as it follow the ITA trend.

*I would say that CIC clears up 85% of applicants within 12 months mark. 6 months is not an accurate figure.

MED Pass : 16-FEB
BG : 16-FEB (We are processing your background check). Direct IP2.
ADR : 27-FEB (We do not need additional documents)
Mar 9 afternoon EST time, CIC profile showed "Update" but there was no change inside.
PPR : received email Mar 9 10:02 PM EST

Hi

I have a question my sister has applied for express entry and she intends to stay in either Ontario or BC, but I live in montreal. If and even she gets her CoPR can she land in Montreal stay with me for while till we figure out further arrangements for her before she travels there, or she would have to land in Ontario before she can come and stay with me in montreal for a bit. would that make a difference since she has no CSQ?

This has been my timeline . Any advice on when to expect a PPR and what all happens during IP2?

21st Dec ITA
24th Feb AOR
3rd March MEP
4th March IP1
7th March IP2

Also, is IP2 the stage when your Background check reads - We are processing your background check ?

Would really appreciate a revert on this.
