I have been in the IP1 status since Feb 21, 2018. Absolutely no change in status after RPRF paid date or rather after submitting USA PCC.

Please let me know if you receive any update on your status. It would be really helpful.

Surely will let you know. As far as the information I gathered from some friends it seems like our applications will not have any update until our new extended deadline (i.e., 04/21/2018 in your case) is completed. Hopefully you will see an update before but if not most probably you will see after 04/21/2018 and it shouldn't take long from there. Please do keep us updated with your status if anything changes in the mean time.

As far as the information I gathered from some friends it seems like our applications will not have any update until our new extended deadline (i.e., 04/14/2018 in your case) is completed. Hopefully you will see an update before but if not most probably you will see after 04/14/2018 and it shouldn't take long from there. Please do keep us updated with your status if anything changes in the mean time.

God, I hope you are right. My eyes are tired of waiting for an update email from CIC. I just hope they are doing their job as quickly as they can. Fingers crossed..

I got an update today. Got a request letter from CIC asking for employment paystubs and bank statements from 8 years back. And have been given a window of just 7 days (not business days).

I have a bad feeling that they will request some absurd documents from me too......

My "background check" status just moved from "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start background check" last week to "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." today. Does this mean I am in IP2 stage now ?

The wait seems forever...:))))

Hi, Did you get an email of the updated status? or you got to know about it by checking your online status?
 
Congratulations to everyone who received their PPR.

I wanted to know that does it matter if you are currently unemployed? Does it impact your chances to get PPR?
