Hello everyone!

Pretty new here and have been reading a lot. Here's my journey so far

AOR: February 22, 2017
Meds passed: March 18, 2017
Additional (Singapore) Police Clearance Request: April 24, 2017
Documents Submitted: May 23, 2017

Looks like a lot of people are in the same boat.
Just a question, how do you know which visa office process your application?

Application status: we are processing...
Review of eligibility: we are reviewing...
Review of medical exams: passed
Additional docs: not needed
Interview: not needed
Biometrics: not needed
Background check: not applicable
Final decision: your application is in progress...

It seems stuck... anyone in the same situation? What bugs me its the review of eligibility, after 5 months they should know if i'm good or not.... it would stink to wait for so long just to be refused.

Sometimes background check stays N/A until you get PPR. They probably already started background check and eligibility. That's what happened with my application. I almost crossed the 6 months period and my background check changed to "we are processing..." when they sent me my PPR.

My BG is still NS (AOR Feb 10). But my file is already at LVO awaiting officer's review. So it's difficult to determine at what stage your file is based on your account. Some officers do not bother to update information in your account. So the best way to know actual status of your file is gcms notes.
