Dear Friends,

My 6 months finished yesterday.......

What could be the reason for the application to pass the 6 months mark ?? I mean on 12th july I got the GCMS notes and everything seems OK...

Eligibility :- Recommended Pass
Security :- Not Started
Criminality :- Pass
Medical :- Pass

I heard that Security Screening is the only reason for the application to pass the 6 months mark !! But my security is still not started......

What could be the reason ??? Please Help !!

The one you mentioned can surely be the reason for the delay and being a CEC outland applicant you should have received your PR long before. I would suggest you to order GCMS notes to have better clarity on your file.

Also, try writing an email to CIC authorities to have some insight into your application.

Good Luck! Have patience. :)

Once you receive PPR, is there any chance of rejection ?

Very very rare, I've only heard of it and not seen it in the forum the last couple years that I've been on here. Someone mentioned using fraudulent travel documents mailed to CIC after PPR, and then was rejected. I have not heard of anyone who's is using their own legitimate travel documents being rejected after PPR, and have not personally seen anyone post that they have been rejected after PPR.

I had an update over the weekend in documents section. It changed to we do not need any documents. Rest sections including NA remains same. Are others receiving same updates? Pnp outland, 20th feb.
