Hi Guys,

Just a general query,

Ordering GCMS before 6 months timeline ( though i will be completing 6 months in next 20 days) is good or bad, as in will it affect the processing of my application more. (as already delayed :(:()
Response awaited.
Thanks

Ordering GCMS will not make any effect on your file. If you haven't noticed any positive change or satisfied with the processing of your file then you can order GCMS anytime.

I, too, have ordered GCMS notes the second time. It is not going to harm.

Usually, we order GCMS after first 3 or 4 months of AOR date and then after 2 or 3 months from previous order date.

Hi All, aor Feb 17, my previous company HR head who gave experience letter left the company few months ago..if they call to check the background verification he will not be available on the landline and also his email may bounce...but if they call on the number which was on the footer. Office reception they may connect to somebody in HR who can give employee information.. do I have to inform cic about the hr head resignation.please advice.

Also, as part of background check, will they definitely contact the people who gave reference letters or HRs. Just curious to know so that we can remind them in case of this step is around the corner..

CIC is aware that people may have resigned already who issued the letter. Someone else in the HR team can authenticate your employment.
Generally, we provide the group email and not the individual's email.

Answering your question, yes you can inform CIC about your situation and update them with the new contact information.

Yes, on a safer side, you can remind them.

that's what I've exactly done, results below -

little input of my GCMS notes, (middle of july), pnp-o

eligibility and security - not started (boring)
criminality and medical - passed

agent review notes - key point PCC R10 is ok, and all other points claims accepted
but
no wording about job references

I believe Eligibility and security will cover that. Have patience....things will get fruitful soon. :)

Also, before ordering GCMS, we should also notice the current trend with the help of this forum :)

I wonder if security takes 2-3 months to complete and not started for me yet....
Is it possible gcms notes does not reflect real picture and there are processes in the background

Looks like all feb. applicants are stuck at security, and if it takes 2-3 months and it really doesn't gives a very good picture on waiting times :( :(

Security related updates are not included in GCMS notes.

Yes, it can happen when file assessing officer doesn't update the system itself.

I would say they are clearing out Jan applicants first and then will start rolling out the PPR to FEB applicants.
Some FEB applicants are already waiting with the APPROVED status. So let's keep our fingers crossed.
