i guess by 80% CIC meant CEC & FSW and by 20% they meant PNP
yes ,before there is a wide known notion that pnp are quicker, because those cases already went through several months of check and inspection by province.

when does the "6 months processing time" start?

Upon AOR or when the status application changed from "we received your application" to "we are processing your application"

PNP-O, nominated by Ontario
Living in Czech Republic
AOR- 01 Feb 2017.. still waiting. BGS = 'in progress.. we will inform you when we start..."

Not sure of the visa office. Possibly Vienna based on cic website.

why do they hold up PNP stream cases so long ? right now almost all the febuary cases which got PPR are fsw or cec, and we even see April fsw cases got approved, while pnp cases of the same time don't even get a mep.

I don't know about PNP. In 2016 the processing was like that: CEC-PNP-FSW. And PNP was quite fast at that time, now for some reason it is very slow. But still I'm FSWO, AOR 10 Feb, BG still NS. And some Feb PNP applicants got PPR already.

I've uploaded my RPRF receipt yesterday. In the submitted file section it shows "Replacement Provided" but in the profile the additional document request is still present. I think, it might be changed after the last date of RPRF payment expires.
or it might change wen VO will have a look at ur file..thanks anyways!!

Got a reply from Ottawa that application is being processed at CIO Sydney... Whats happening I already crossed 5 months

Hi all,

I've been following this thread for a while now, also in the PNP-O waiting boat . I've been stuck with BGC N/A since May. Seems like the CIC forgot about PNP applicants.

My timeline:

OINP nomination: 17-12-2016
ITA: 23-12-2016
AOR: 08-02-2017
Meds passed: 10-03-2017
ADR Schedule A (education): 10-05-2017
BGC N/A: 15-05-2017

yeah yours is slow among fsw, maybe some case by case concern ? but big data shows most pnp cases won't even get mep for months, while they already giving out ppr to April fsw. i'm curious is this legitimate SOP? isn't this a first came first served matter?

The PNP processing is slow as provinces are taking much longer to verify the Provincial nominations and releasing the details. But soon It will be on track as more ITAs are issued and we see a shift to FSW from PNP. In the last 2 months Provinces have received record number of applications and they are processing them.

yeah , but we are talking about federal stage of pnp cases after ITA, excluding the provincial cycle, how can this take way longer than fsw?

That is what I am referring to. When you submit your application post ITA, IRCC has to confirm the PNP certificate with the nominating province. That is what is taking way longer as Provinces are busy with evaluating new applications.
