I think I am in the same boat as you ............ wishing you all the best. Not sure what is happening as well.

Ordering GCMS does not by itself give any advantage, except in a few circumstances. It does however help you know what is happening in your application.

In some rare cases, when the IRCC has received a report from CSIS or another agency and have not uploaded it, or may not have uploaded a document you sent, they will do it when you request GCMS, as then the officer will have to review your file before releasing GCMS and if he sees pending documents he will update them. Does not happen always, but in some cases makes the stuck application move ahead.
Thanks legal. I'm now heading towards fifth month, July 11 would make it 5 months. Gonna take a risk today and order it from the getgcms site. Fingers crossed

It will give you peace of mind if nothing else. So worth it.

BG check went from in progress to not applicable last week after the verification call.

Got my PPR today (updated tracker straight away! rg74 includes me in the above post):

FSW-O
London visa office
1 dependent

AOR - 14 Feb
Medicals passed - 21 March
Background changed from 'Next step is to process...' to NA - 26 April

Those that are waiting - hang in there - this is definitely a process that rewards patience!

Good luck everyone!

One question: I am Feb 14 AOR, FSWO, BG IP2 since the end of May, my sister has just moved to Canada and she is PR holder now. This happened post-AOR. Is it beneficial for me to raise a CSE and report this as now people with siblings in Canada receive extra points? In case they are reviewing my file and find something inadmissible, these extra points can compensate. Meanwhile, I guess my eligibility is "recommended pass" according to GCMS notes that I received the end of May. Any insight would be great.

Congratulations Guys!!!
Finally, February applicants have started getting good news.
Looking forward to more and more such news!

According to me, no need as of now. Do not complicate things at this stage.

I ordered gcms notes about 2 weeks ago so hopefully come soon. I'm australian but was living in the uk at the time I submitted so my file is at the London office. They give me no useful information just the standard your files bed assigned to an officer for review.
okay, make sense.. since, you are Australian citizen, then moved to UK and submitted your application and did you move to anywhere else after this. Probably this is the reason, they need to check two countries now for your background, thats why i might be sucking up some more time than usual. hopefully things will turn around very soon and you will get PPR, well before your GCMS notes arrive.. cheers buddy
