Congratulation... Wow you used a whole month in IP2 from 6th of May to 8th of June.

I just looged in to my CIC account and saw a request for additional documents (as seen bellow)

Review of additional documents: We need additional documents to process your application. Check your messages below for details.

But there is no message below, does anyone receive something similar? Should I call CIC or wait to see if it is just a glitch, since they seem to have change the interface again?

Thanks,

Hey Diogo,

Since Tuesday CIC is showing this information for some people as well as " we are reviewing additional documents sent". No worries! It's just a glitch :)

Hey, so what is your addition document is showing now after submitting family information form ?

I did not check after cic updated system few days ago since my lawyer takes care of my account
But when i submitted my document on may 17th next day it changed to
" the additional documents you provided have been uploaded "

Hi guys,

When sending off my passport copy for my COPR, it asks me to complete form "Annex A" which was attached to my PR email.

If there are no updates at all, do I still fill this out of leave it blank?

Finally got in touch with CIC through Email and inquired specifically about my ELIGIBILITY & SECURITY since my BG went to IP on 27th May.
I was confirmed that my ELIGIBILITY was Passed & SECURITY was In Progress.
No idea how long it is going to take for all this to complete.
What do you think will be next step & how long is it going to take ?
which email did you use? thank you

Hi all. My AOR is feb 21,2017. I just called the CIC number tel:1613)944-4000. It's an automated system. I'm CEC Outland. They said my medicals passed ( didn't say when, I am using a lawyer so they didn't give me details). The system said my background check is in progress, no additional docs needed and they're reviewing my eligibility. What does that mean exactly?? I'm so scared.
Is this Ottawa's office number? tnx

It's the number to call from outside Canada. Not entirely sure if it's for Ottawa. I know it's the Foreign Affairs & Development office and they connect you to CIC in Canada. I called before 12 pm and got through. I tried recalling after 12 pm and they said this service isn't available outside of Canada. Hope that helps.

Could you give me a hint as to your nature of work in these interesting countries? I have one of these in my travel history and I am already done overthinking over it a lot.

I wasn't actually working, just travelling. Although I did a bit of English teaching work whilst living in Yemen. I've heard if you did any kind of government or military work, then things can take a lot longer

I got PPR!
Hi All,
I was a FSW inland applicant back in July 2015. I hired a lawyer to handle my case but her efforts were futile. I was employed by a biotech company in Canada as a lab tech/chemist August 2013. In Feb/march 2014, the company was acquired by another biotech company. My job DUTIES remained the same but my TITLE changed to Reagent Manufacturing Tech. I continued working under new management until September 2015. The first lawyer suggested to use two different NOC codes to explain the change , which I felt in my gut was off, but I trusted her knowledge and judgment. My application was refused by CIC that same year for mismatched duties and NOC code.
My PGWP was about to expire so I was forced to resign a job I held for two years. I was devastated. I applied for TRV whilst waiting on my EE application decision which was approved but by the time I received it I only had one month of status on it. I reapplied for a TRV to by time whilst I got a new lawyer to fix the mess that was made! That was refused.
I found a lawyer , Mr. Ronald Poulton. He's so patient, extremely thorough, very knowledgeable and kind. He suggested that I get a new employment letter , with company letter head, new letter also referred back to employment letter from my 2015 EE application that citied mismatched NOC and duties, basically apologizing and explaining everything to CIC, that is , the company acquisition, explanation of job title duties etc, signed by my former manager. Additional supporting docs T4's, record of employment etc were also uploaded.
A received my ITA (CRS 478) under CEC Outland ( had to leave Canada since status ran out) , also didn't make sense overstaying, which will affect final decision on my new application. Oh , I also gained a bachelors from a Canadian university in 2012.
I finally received my PPR after an almost 3 year nightmare. Praise Jesus! This forum was very helpful. Do your research if you decide to use a representative! Thanks Mr. Poulton.
AOR 21st feb 2017
PPR 8th June 2017
Landed TBD.
