Finally some moment from my file as well I emailed last week to ask where my file was and previously had always been in the central intake office, this time got an email directly from the London office saying my file was there, good news I think, I believe at least a review of eligibility and a recommended pass is given in Canada before transfer to LVO is that correct? any seniors can you advise.

Any idea how quick london is compared to other offices? Very happy with progress but I feel chance of refusal is low now,

I did my landing at Pacific Crossing in Surrey, British Columbia at night because I was impatient. I had no visa to the States and no intent to enter it also i'm from one of the attempted "banned" countries so I was slightly nervous. We parked a ways away and walked to the border. They CBA personnel immediately approached us and asked us what we were doing. I replied with Flagpoling so they told me where to walk to the American office. Once there, the american officer asked me why i was there: Flagpoling. What i was applying for: Permanent Residence. He filled out the form with the reason being flagpoling, said congratulations and i was on my way back. Quick and pleasant. On the Canadian side, I filled out the COPR forms sent back with my passport on the CBA officer's request. I was asked a few standard questions like, "have you ever been convicted of a crime?" then they asked me to surrender my work permits and study permits, expired and valid. And that was it. 6-8 weeks until i get the PR card mailed to me and they gave me a sheet with important PR information. All together, it took less than 30 minutes. After 8 years in Canada, I'm finally a permanent resident; it feels a little bit unreal.

Thanks a lot to everyone in this forum, you've all been so helpful!

Congrats! Please share timeline

Dear All,
I think my situation appears a bit wierd here. My initial application was rejected and i reapplied and got ITA in next draw. I submitted the documents and processing fee. After one week, my fee was refunded without any email/notification. However, my new application is still in process. The previous application is still cancelled. Now i dont know which amount is refunded, new or older. Any guesses?

Given the time frame I think the refund is for old application. You can always call for clarification. All the best for this application.
