  • I have Landed at Rainbow Bridge by Walk. I didn't choose to get entry refusal. I entered in the USA with my already activated I-94 and came back to Canada in an hour.

Best of Luck everyone.
I will be here to answer all queries.
Congrats!!!!!

Good luck!

Hi buddy. When you do the landing, do they cancel both your work visa and the new PR visa? This would mean that you will not be able to travel out of the country until you get your PR card? Tx

They have just crossed my PR visa.
You are still able to go out of the country but you will need PR Card or PRTD to re-enter into Canada.

Congratulation!! I will be doing my landing at the rainbow bridge too. Do you mind telling me How long is the walk and when is the best time to go?

The walk is about 2-3 minutes if you go without enjoying the view :)
Try to go early in the morning. Before 11 am. I went on Sunday.

Hi Guys,
FSWO
AOR - 4th feb
BG - NA since 22nd March
My last working day in the company is 31st may and i have claimed point for this work experience. Pl suggest if i have to raise this info to CIC? And, does this delay the file processing time.

Have been extremely slow these past few days !! No PPR's this week ... just few trickling updates here and there :(

Thanks.

Did they also cross out your work visa? I assume you have one as you are CEC

The issue i guess it the PR card takes a min of 45 days to get? Heard some say even longer they waited. As for PRTD it says apply from your home country, what if you are traveling to another country for work? Any ideas? Tx

hey guys,

those that applied for BOWP can someone tell me if I'm supposed to upload the payment receipt with the online application? I only attached my AOR and current work permit that is expiring next month in the LOE section.

thanks.

FSW - Inland
AOR - 23/02/2017
Medical Passed 13/04/2017
IP (1) - 14/04/2017
schedule A and Travel History - 12/04/2017
Sent on 18/04/2017
BGS NA - 24/04/2017

My work visa will expire on July 1. I want to wait few more weeks before applying for BOWP. I have two questions:

1- If I get PPR before July 1, Can I stay in the country or should I do landing before my current visa expires?

2- Does anyone know how should I apply for extension for my wife. I have a temporary work permit supported by LMIA until 1st of July and my wife has OWP as a dependent. I read that I can't apply BOWP for her but have to apply for OWP as well. How does it work?
Thanks.

OK. So I got a call from CIC India. It is the risk assessment bureau apparently. An Indian asked me about my application and also about my wife. She told me she has written to my boss but he has not yet replied. Sadly, boss is travelling. Don't know when he would send the mail.

After the verification, it goes to a case officer. So perhaps another 2-3 months I would guess.

So lets see how this goes.

Cheers
GI

Update:
My Background Check has been changed from "Next step is to Conduct Background Check" to "Not Applicable".
This change has come after long 60 days. I hope things will get better soon for PNP outland applicants.
Have you paid RPRF upfront?
