Some doctors are horrible. They know their business only. I know someone whom the doctor told that the person has HCV. Then prescribed tests which costs a ton. All fake and earn a lot of cash from tests. Finally they say WELL 'you are ok for immigration, not active blah blah'.

Regarding time, something is going different from the usual for FSWO/PNPO after 15 Feb. Heard about another case that the background changed like yours but no medical update. Better to order gcms, anyway it will take a month.

It's not just after 15th Feb, I'm 7th Feb AOR and background changed, but medical still not passed.

I know that many people have asked the same question but yet I am still confused with all the answers given. Is "Your application is in progress. The next step is to conduct a background check." equals Not Started or In Progress (1) in tracking applications?
Not started

I dont agree fully. The doctors try to be helpful and if they find anything wrong in any of the tests they want to rule out the possibility of delay of your application. If they upload things without investigating they get full payment but they check everything for us so that we are not asked for further tests after 2 months which will delay the process, the cost and complications. The earning from such tests is peanuts for those doctors.

I am not saying all of them and every country. I am saying some of my own country. I have faced that. The person taking the tests was bought to a new place and the new doctor said everything was fine. He got furtherance from CIC and the case got solved that time. But that left a wrong mark in CIC IM file.

Hi Everyone,

My AOR was Feb 27, Medical Passed 18th March. I received e-mail from CIC to submit the RCMP Police Clearance Certificate couple of days ago.

I was wondering can I upload the one I received on 3rd Jan (Got it thinking they need upfront, but then everyone suggested not to upload it as it is not required) or should I apply for a new and latest one then upload?

You can upload it, as RCMP valid for 6 month from the date of issue.

1. YES! Your rep has full access to check the status of your application.
2. YES! They can check your medical status just by signing in.
3. You need to apply for either GCMS Notes or you can send them an email (Not 100% sure about this procedure)

Thank you JattTinka, I appreciate your quick answer.

Do you mind explaining me what are the GCMS notes and how can i apply for those? What would be the procedure?

Thank you again!!

Friends,

I just received an email request for RCMP Criminal Record Check. However, it just says for me alone and not for my family. Shall i go and get it for me alone or my family ?

Global Case Management System ( GCMS ) . The Global Case Management System ( GCMS ) is Citizenship and Immigration Canada's ( CIC's ) single, integrated and worldwide system used internally to process applications for citizenship and immigration services. In layman tells you the Case history ( staus of ur file )

No fee to apply under PRIVACY ACT takes around 30 calender days to get it

If it asked for you only then only you can do it. Otherwise if you want on safe side you can go for your family...its $ 50/ person.

When is your AOR?

Hi Arun, I have similar application like you. my spouse as my dependent. They did not require her RCMP. only Mine. I confirmed with a consultant just now and we need to upload only one document.

Please note when you will update the document, they will ask for:

DOCUMENT NAME: RCMP CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK
DOCUMENT NO: DCN (Top right corner of your document)
Issue Date: Date on top of your name in the document (top left corner)
Expiry Date: Add 6 months to the date of issue (they do not clearly mention the expiry date on your RCMP document).

Best of Luck. I just uploaded and submitted mine.
