Hi All,

Just a quick question. How do you guys receive your PPR? Is it just an email? Does the message show up on your cic status page?
If it doesn't I guess one should be checking the spam folders as well.

As an update to my time line:

AOR - Feb 26th
Request for additional docs Schedule-A and Travel history - Mar 22nd,
Docs submitted - Mar 23rd.
Medical exam passed - Mar 24th
Background check processing started - Mar 24th
Background check is not applicable - Mar 28th

Good luck to everyone with the applications (myself included) =)

Hey bro, your PPR is round the corner. I guess you should be receiving it this week or next week for sure!

Very inspiring news! Congratulations Busch!

Hi Ca2022, were you able to contact CIC regarding your situation. If so, can you please share your status as it might be useful to someone here. I guess you got an email that CIC cannot add your document to your profile because it is ineligible for CIC...

Thanks in advance for sharing your info!

I am CEC inland and got my meds passed. By any change they check work experience by calling the employers? I provided them with reference letters, pay stubs and T4's however my boss is not a nice person in these type of things Lol.

Any comments?

Mostly they don't but sometimes they do as well. My manager told me that he had signed quite a few letters and never got a call for verification.

For your manager not being nice, I think if he signed the letter he will verify it as well. Otherwise, it is kind of on him that he signed one thing and is giving different information over the phone. So I guess you are good, just don't pick a fight with him at this point, lol

I see, I don't think there is any reason for him not to give correct information over the phone even if you left the job. You were able to get the letter from him (I am guessing), so it should not be a problem.

Hi there,

I have a question about the means of financial support in the application. How much money we should put into our bank account for CIC to proceed our application? If I have mortage in my account, does that hurt my application? I am in the CEC stream and passed medical exam. No information afterwards. Kind of worry. :o :o

Thanks advance for any help.

Best,
Fred

hi there no need to worry actually by seeing other people getting medicals passed or other changes we all are getting impatient
as we all know acc to CIC guidelines processing time is 6 months bt i m sure we will get PPR'S way before that . You wil get the status change within a week or so and i have even seen cases in earlier months no status change and sudden 2 or 3 changes and PPR ALL the BEST ;D 8)

Anyone with same status as mine.
People who applied later than me already got medical approved :( :(

Yes me too. But I guess it takes anywhere between 30-45 days for medicals passed. Good luck! :)
