I have not received any email so far for the changes happened. Just found out in regular checking of my account (doing it twice a day from AOR..crazy right ;D)

Does CIC open our application and start working on it before updating the medicals ? Or they don't touch/verify any other parameter until the medicals ?

It depends. In my case I got an email 24 hours after the actual update in my account.
