I am not sure if it's IP1 or IP2 (in progress 1 or 2) based on that you can calculate how much time it would take. if it's IP2, it's definitely a good new, you can hear from office anytime soon.ohh I am still in stage 4. I am close to 180 days, I will reach the milestone by next weekend. Anyways just 2 steps way from the ppr hoping for quick check of BG and get ppr soon
Thanks for letting me know about the stages. its so helpful
Never came across a case where an applicant proactively wants to renew thr medical to change the expiry date of the visa unless ircc requests a new medical cert before approving ... contact cic may be they will be able to help you out here. Good luckI wonder if forum members would know -
Once application approved, and before sending passport, is it possible to renew medical check-up to extend visa expire date and be able to land in Canada in summer ?
It's *PPR*!

To be honest I don’t think they will allow you to provide another medical test that you already passed just so you can get an extension. By the time you get your PPR, you already passed eligibility and security. Why would they look at another medical test report at this stage? They just need to stamp your passport and generate your COPR.Thanks
yeah, sounds crazy but projects to finish, commitments, also starting life in canada in summer is preferable for me, imho.
I know that heaven can't be cold
Has anybody got PPR from NDVO in the last 2 weeks ?
Even I am not sure. I was also asked for RCMP and my criminality is in progress and eligibility is - recommended pass. I think it could be that they whiteout particular information from notes when a eligibility/criminality check is ongoing...I may be wrong!RG, do you know what exactly this section 16 means? What are they checking? Cause I have the same under associations page. My criminality is not started (since they have waited for one pcc from the embassy for a long time and when it arrived no one had the time to look at it), security also not started, eligibility review required.
Thanx a lot, are PNPs inlands or outlands?I haven't given any status update for long as their was hardly any PPR rain during the past few weeks. So, here it goes -
PPR's for today so far -
FSW Outland : 1 (Feb - 15)
PNP PPR : 2 (Feb - 1, 10)
Total PPR received till date for FEB AOR(out of 635 applicants) - 398 (63%)
CEC PPR(out of 257) - 205 (80%)
FSW-O PPR (out of 213) - 138 (65%)
FSW-Inland PPR (out of 34) - 26 (76%)
PNP PPR (out of 131) - 29 (22%)
So, it is evident that more than half of FEB AOR is over 180 days mark and still 37% applicants awaiting PPR which is quite pathetic and everyone is tired of waiting ....including me
Just hoping for a brighter tomorrow and wishing everyone waiting a speedy PPR
If anyone wants to check out the details of PPR received and averages for each category can go to the links in my signature !!
There is no order. But the one you list is the most popular trends.Apologies if this question has been asked before. What order is the background check completed? As in education first, job stuff then police? Or is there no set order?
