I have just called IRCC, to know the status of my application, since the status of my application on website remains same for more than a month. my AOR is feb 6 2017, although my background check has changed to IP2 in may third week and its been in IP2 for more than a month, so I could not handle this anxiety anymore, so i called them today. Apparently IRCC sent send an email/letter to my representative( OLD representative, for my study visa) on june 19th, although I did not mention any representative for express entry Permanent residency. Since im not his client right now or my old representative is not dealing my application right now, has never bothered or concerned to call me to inform me, of course i cannot blame him.so it looks like, IRCC has all my phone numbers, including old ones, which are expired and old representatives, (who are not right now dealing my application) on my profile. IRCC trying to pass message to me through the old representatives and old numbers, although they have my new number and email id. I have to request the IRCC office to remove all my old representatives and my old phone numbers, to ensure message is passed to me. The Call assistant agent at IRCC, has informed me that he is going to request ottawa office to resend me the email/letter to my email id now, which might take 7-10 days due to long weekend..
I feel stupid for not calling them before.... so dont hesitate to call, its not a crime..lol
I wonder why this was not mentioned on my status on express entry profile.... or not even a message...anyways guys its always better to clear all your old phone numbers and old representatives from your IRCC profile.
