Your IELTS should be valid at the time of application submission. After that the result gets locked, just like age. You don't have to take the exam again.

Guys, when I try to check my application status for the first time am getting the below message. My file number starts with E00

Ielts has to be valid up to AOR date. This is a common opinion across the forum as far as i know.
