My background was "we are processing .... " previously, now it has changed to Not applicable. Didn't see any request for Canada PCC yet. Does that mean that my next background status will be "we are processing..." again and then PPR ?

Call CIC and ask if there is any correspondence sent from them. If they did then ask them to resend that (may be they will ask you to raise CSE).

Usually How long will take to change the status from 'ONHOLD' to Approved , Please Advise .

Yesrteday My BOWP Status changed to ONHOLD ,

AOR -28TH FEB
BOWP Applied on Sameday Feb 28 th

Current status of PR :
Medicals Passed : 23rd March
BG : IP 1 23 March
BG:IP 2 25 March

Quick question on my friend's behalf...

As i read, many people are saying that BG status changing from in progress to N/A.

So do you receive any notification email in your inbox when the background goes to In progress and after switching to Not Applicable?

His's not applicable from long time and i am not sure if that is a good sign or they never touched BG. He submitted my RCMP upfront and Medical was Passed on March 2nd. No notification after march 2nd.

Please advise something.

No, you don't receive emails for background change. The only email you probably receive within 24 hours is for medical.

How do you know about IP1 IP2 change? without changing to NA in between?

Okay :

We I applied My 1st status was : NA
Secondly I got additional Doc Req and Changed on the same day to Next step is the Conduct BG Check (1 Step)
Next BG Change after 3 days was We are Processing your BG Check (2nd Step )

Correct me I am wrong .
