AOR Feb 24, CEC Inland
I called CIC today and they told me that 'final decision' is not made yet and they can do something (the call center can escalate) only if my application has been there 11 months (end of January), other than that, I need to wait.

Hi Rahul1990,

Was your file transferred to NDVO or was it there from the beginning? I am trying to understand if file transfer date has any relevance.

It was transferred on the 14th June. even then its been more than 3 months it has been with NDVO

God PPR letter this morning. God blessed me. Wish good news for everybody here soon!

Very nice! Congrats and enjoy your stress free life :)

Is it possible that NDVO has their own timeline and they start calculating 6 month from the time they received the file?

somehow I have this nagging feeling that's how they are working or I could be paranoid :D

I don't see any other reason for such delays for a straight forward application.

The Ottawa office was so efficient and they are so nice when you call them.. unlike the NDVO who do not even answer the call..but anyways hopefully it will come soon.

I am assuming it will come before 12 months ( coz the medical will expire then).. hopefully in another 3.5 months !!!!!!!!!!!

Did you call Ottawa office? What did they inform you about your application? I also called them today but could not speak to any agent n call got disconnected in the middle.

takes about 15-20 mins to connect..keep trying
