Whether or not I opt for EI, service canada wil still be updated about this change. Technically my application is still under 'review' :'(

Yes I got the email that my application has been updated! My passports were delivered to CPC Ottawa on 08/19

I was asked to submit my passport at the VFS. There wasn't a mention of uploading the passport in MyCIC.

I am not very sure myself but I believe you might as well upload it again if that's what the letter asks.

There is no harm in uploading the copies of passports - upload the passport copies by including all pages!
