Hi Everyone ,

I am new to this forum and I want to share my happy news. I got my AOR on 18/02/2016 and PPR on 12/08/2016 from London office :)

But I have Following issues and I am not sure what to do.

1. I need to submit my passport by 12/09/2016. But Unfortunately I have another trip planned and it clashes with the PPR dates. I have already bought my flight tickets and paid for hotel bookings. It all non-refundable. Is there any way to get an extension on PPR. Has anyone ever gotten a PPR extension ?

2. My medicals is expiring on 23/09/2016 . There is not way i can land in Canada by then. So what should I do about it ?

Please help me out :( ... I feel very stressed about all this even after receiving my PPR.

Thank you in advance.

Regards,

1. You probably can, you need to contact CIC directly to know.
2. You will need a new medical for landing.

Same as me. Except that CIC got my passport August 11. No updates on CIC and tracking number still not found.
I wonder why the PPR asked us to send it to a PO Box. Could this be a factor?

Hello,
I am new in this forum. I put my file for FSW outland category in Express entry from India.

My 180 days are completed yesterday on 15th august, 2016. I have a positive LMIA. But still i did not get any single update from Immegration. I ordered GCMS notes and got it 20th july 2016. But i can see there is not a single problem in file.

My file is in NDVO. I am confused about why processing is this much slow.

ITA : 17/01/2016(FSW Outland)
AOR: 15/02/2016
Medicals Passed: 18/02/2016
BG check needed : Not needed at this time

Hi guys,

I applied for a Canada Visitor Visa on the 18th of July. The Visa application was approved and I was asked to send my passport to the New York office. At the moment, I can see, in the CIC system that the case has been approved and closed. However, I have not received my passport since 1 August.

Are there people who have some experience with NY Visa Office?? They seem to be slow in everything... And now, I believe my PR will take a long time.

The positive thing to pick from this: You can get a visitor visa while you PR is in process.
