Hello guys
I got rprf request yesterday. Since i applied with my spouse(i m the main applicant )so do i have to pay 490×2 or just for myself. And they will ask for husband's separately? ?

Hello experts
I am very new to this page. Actually, my AOR is feb 5 and backround went in process 12 July. So what will be next now?
Does it mean that my eligbility got passed now and i just need to wait for ppr?

You have to pay for yourself and your spouse. 490*2

Principal applicants (with some exceptions) and spouses and common-law partners coming with them to Canada must pay this fee. Applicants must pay this fee before CIC issues the permanent resident visa or before the applicant becomes a permanent resident in Canada.

These people do not have to pay this fee:

dependent children of a principal applicant or sponsor, a child to be adopted, or an orphaned brother, sister, niece, nephew or grandchild; and
protected persons, including Convention refugees.

hey everyone i got my GCMS notes today

Assessment
Eligibility - met
Security - not started
Criminality - passed
medical - passed
R10 - OK
Funds - Met

due date for security was 28/03/2016
and file has been last updated on 20/04/2016
Visa Office - Primary - NDVO
So now only the security and review of the visa officer is pending and you are good to go. Except for the fact that it might take a month for officer to go all over your application once again and make his/here recommendations.

Almost the same timeline. Everything for me is "passed" except Security is not started and my file is more or less
untouched since 8th April. NDVO is really lousy at times.
I am a Jan applicant and my file in NDVO has not been touched since April 21st. My prediction for NDVO applicants is that we have to wait longer than other i.e, 6 months or more. I will be hitting 6 months on 19th July

For all applicants having VO as NDVO, following is an update from High Commission of Canada:

Canada in India (High Commission of Canada) FB page:
"Applying for a Canadian visa? Please note that we are experiencing record high volumes and longer than normal processing times across our India network. This can mean spending a number of weeks without your passport if it is submitted with the application"

Twitter handle @CanadainIndia:
"Applying for CDN visa? Please note we are experiencing record high volumes & longer than normal processing times across our India network."

I think That is very evident since the PPRs are so dry from NDVO since a mOnth almost

Finally, got yesterday request for RPRF, nive movement for Feb group!!!hope we all get our PPRs soon, fingers crossed!!!
