Hello,

Got my PPR today. It's the one they sent by email right?

I think they also changed my Background Check to In Progress or something like that.
Does this mean my PR is approved??

What category are you on? Remember FSW(Inland) & CEC are taking on average 6-7 months before PPR.

FSW Inland - does that mean they will take longer to issue my BOWP too? Its driving me nuts!

Hey guys,

I started to read this forum several weeks ago, and till now I have a been a silent member.
Thanks to everybody for sharing your valuable experience.

My timeline looks as follow:

Outland PNP
01/03/2016 - OAR
05/03/2016 - Medicals passed
BG status "Not needed at this time"

Hope to see BG status changed into "In process" soon

Good luck to everybody!!!

Guys, my BOWP application approved. I received a message like this:

...Your application to remain in Canada as a temporary resident has been approved. A secure document has been mailed to you at the address that you provided when you made your application...

I am wandering if anyone received BOWP, how long it will take to receive the papers?

Congratulations. They say up to 6 weeks but it will come in 1-2 weeks.

Don't forget to go to Service Canada Office to get your SIN extended. Take your passport, your current SIN printout and your current work visa (long with the New Work Visa).

It depends on where you live, because it is mailed from Ottawa. It takes 5 business days for it to reach Vancouver to give a reference
