Also I have shown proof of funds more than the eligibility. The only issue i can think of is that i accidentally stated 15,000 as the amount in the application form instead of the actual minimum amount which is 15,143 stated on cic website.

As per your notes your R10 (completeness check was passed) and your criminality was passed too.

However during your eligibility check there has been a concern with respect to the prof of funds. However, if you are a CEC candidate yo do not have to show proof of funds, but only that you are employed in Canada. <http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp>

I have seen this comment on some applicants who are CEC, but in your case I am not sure if you applied under the CEC or the FSW.

Apart from this everything else is good and your eligibility is cleared.

Can you tell us a little more about what documents you presented and what was teh balance on those.

It could be multiple factors :

1 . Your funds are less than the eligible amounts by CIC.
2. You have the funds but also have debts which after deducting gets your final available balance lower.

Yes, you can send a CSE with a detailed explanation about the POF. Mention that you noticed i the GCMS notes (specify the date of the note) and provide an explanation. However, it could be the case that the documents you submitted were not found satisfactory by the officer and there is a detailed discussion about PoF on a thread on this forum.

If you feel that it is just because of a discrepancy in the figure, you can clarify that and refer to the documents you submitted. This is clarify the position and any concerns an officer might have.

A11.2 refers to the section 11.2 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act which deals with eligibility. As in whether an applicant has met the requirements for the program under which the application is filed. Since the PoF is not a part of the eligibility or the act, but an administrative order evaluated by the Minister of Immigration from time to time in accordance with the inflation and cost of living index, your eligibility is met, but they have concerns with your PoF. If you write a CSE and clarify the position, things will be move ahead without issues.

As regards your application in general, you have cleared the two major hurdles of an application evaluation. If your PoF is clarified, you will be closer than ever to the PPR.
