Do you know whether or not her employer got a phone call? Normally PNP inlanders won't get call again since we already received call during the PNP stage....

No she didn't get a call and neither did her employer.

Hi Anna98, congratulations, wow your BOWP was approved extremely fast. I applied for my BOWP on 10 April. I wonder how long I will have to wait. Getting nervous now as my Open Work Permit expires on 26 June.

Really sorry, earlier I have mentioned an incorrect date for the BOWP approval. it was approved on April 15th, it took exactly a month. I was also expecting a 3 month processing time as per CIC website, looks like it's getting processed quickly.

You don't have to worry as long as you have submitted your application before the current permit expires, can continue to work under the implied status until you receive a decision on BOWP. I'm also an open work permit holder and it expired on 31st March ( applied for BOWP-14th March), didn't have any problem in continuing my work.

Anna, your BOWP was processed very fast, not sure what superpower you have that we dont possess!!

My BOWP also got approved, it was paper application though.

My paper application reached on 25th Feb and It got approved on 15th April.
