Totally makes sense. Even the visa issued people are getting trouble finding their passports back. Before it was a matter of 10 days to get the passport back but now it takes upto a month. Be patient. It will end soon. All the Best

I see that I'm not alone. What could it possibly be? I called CIC last week but 25 minutes of music listening resulted in nothing. Quite unfriendly if not arrogant lady told me "the application is being dealt with, no timelines or details to provide.


What do you think folks, they abandon us for months??

My broader guess is that CIC should clear all Feb n Mar applications before end of Nov as the Dec is holiday month(christmas,new year) and some of them would utilize unutlized vacations making it literally a no work month.

So lets wait till Nov End.

Hope Im proved wrong by CIC and will be happy for it

A nice agent told me everything is passed and waiting for final review by an officer, which they dont know when it would happen, but anytime this month or next.
The application status is not yet updated though. Maybe it ll be updated after officer's review.
Feel bit relaxed on this news.

I'm regularly checking my MyCIC account and email Id junk/ spam folder, but find nothing. I'm planning to raise CSE as 7 month nearly complete. Very much worried what happen to my file.
