Hi your timeline roughly follows mine. Are you Inland or Outland? If Outland you may be processed quickly. If Inland you and I have a lot if waiting on our hands.

Why is inland apparently so much slower than outland? That's brutal...would have thought it's opposite

My guess is because the volume of inland applications is so much larger than outland (as seen in the mid-year report, of course, this will be more clear when they release the one-year report).
Also, I think part of outland applications are processed in their respective visa offices versus the main offices in Canada.
Not sure about this though, just my guess.

All the best with the rest of your application!

I've had the same case too where my BG check changed to Not needed at this time from In Progress in a span of 3 days.

IMO I think it's just a sort of status change that doesn't mean anything because a couple of days is way too fast to determine anything. Or perhaps our BG checks are on hold or any other status that's not the same as In Progress in their definition.

I predict that it will pop back to In Progress anytime soon.

PS: I noticed Kirkoven's BG Check status changed on a Sunday. Does that mean CIC works during weekends?

I am outland. But it will be also slow with my application as it with Abu Dhabi VO which is also slow as it manages almost all GCC countries as well as many residents there who come from India, Pakistan, Philippines, Egypt, Lebanon, Syria...

Hello everyone.
While going through the threads, I found out that most of the applicants who filled Schedule 4 form, signed it,scanned and uploaded it.
I didnt signed schedule 4 form, I just typed my name and uploaded.
Will this affect my application?

I never knew outland would be faster than inland. So should I relax if my medicals haven't even passed yet? My AOR was on Feb 16th (PNP inland) and not a peep from CIC yet. I've been checking multiple times a day at home and work. :'(
