Actually, my primary was NDVO - only changed it to Sydney VO for COPR stamping I've heard CPC is crazy, but they are trying to clear applications much faster than before with reduced ITAs going out. Yup, plan to do my PhD in a couple of years - still working in Sydney. Will probably work in Canada for a year before getting back into studies

Guys, how do we know that our file is currently in local VO or in CPC? i couldn't find that information in MyCIC.

My guest if the file is in local VO then it is nearly finished whereas if it is in CPC then it will need to send to local VO before final step. Is this right?

This information is available only once you order gcms notes OR (in my case) I found out when NDVO gave me a call as part of their background verification process + confirmed once I received gcms.

Your initial R10 and A11.2 and criminality and medicals check is done at CIO, then it is transferred to local VO (CPC or whichever is your relevant VO, depending on your application type) for detailed verification of security and all supporting documents submitted.

After 4 months and 3 weeks of waiting nothing at all. Worse still over 4 months and 5 days since movement on my case

My observation in Jan group is that they got PPR after an average 5 months period, some took longer, some quicker. So we should calm down and wait. Something will definitely happen in 1st or 2nd week of July.
