Is it a possibility that people in Aug who didn't get bg in progress had complex cases/doubts and needed a senior officer to review who is either now clearing them with bg in progress or rejecting them.

Earlier today someone with early Aug AOR also got bg in progress.

My thought exactly. Hopefully, the rest of july and august folks would get some lobe after this.

So now we are sure that RPRF doesn't mean s***. Even if they say you are eligible...

It depends on the category in which you have applied because every category and case is different. IMO RPRF in CEC and inland applicants means a lot. In the Old CEC system RPRF was requested before PPR. So in that case RPRF does make a difference in CEC and for FSW outland BG in progress is a major step.

Amith case is the second case where we see refusal after RPRF request. Interestingly their BG did not changed to InProgress at any point in time during the whole process. Probably I am correlating too much. I am not sure if this make sense or not. Now I am bit scared and looking back all my documents and my profile and making sure what I mentioned is correct or not. BTW I also got RPRF request in Nov and My BG turn to In Progress on Nov 19th. I am PNP-CEC Inland
Same here! After rprf I was comforting myself with a thought that at least all is okay with the paperwork we've submitted, but doesn't have to be like that at all. Considering the update on MYCIC it appears they started to work again on our file. I've submitted GCMS notes request earlier in December and CSE inquiry about medicals.

This wait has become even more agonizing seeing people getting rejected after almost 5 months of wait...

Hello All,

BAD NEWS Guys..Got refusal letter minutes ago and i need DESPERATE HELP on this..

I am from Indian and education details submitted are as follows

Master Degree : Masters in Mass Communication
Bachelors : Bachelors in Commerce

CAN ANYONE GUIDE ME ON THIS URGENTLY

I have now completed the assessment of your application for a permanent resident visa as a skilled worker. I have determined that you do not meet the requirements for immigration to Canada.

In your Express Entry profile you indicated that you held a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree. The ECA you have provided confirms your educational equivalency as 2 Bachelor’s degrees.
In accordance with section 11.2 of the Act of the Regulations, I am refusing your application because I have found that you do not meet the criteria set out in an instruction given under paragraph 10.3(1)(e). This change in your qualifications resulted in a loss of points that brought your rank below the lowest ranking person who was invited to apply in your round, under the Express Entry Comprehensive Ranking System.
Subsection 11(1) of the Act states that a foreign national must, before entering Canada, apply to an officer for a visa or for any other document required by the regulations. The visa or document shall be issued if, following an examination, the officer is satisfied that the foreign national is not inadmissible and meets the requirements of this Act. Subsection 2(2) specifies that unless otherwise indicated, references in the Act to “this Act” include regulations made under it."

Amit

Sorry to hear. I suggest to create immediate new profile. Choose option as Bachelors Degree if ECA report says that your Masters is equivalent to Candian Bachelors

Hey guys

I was requested FBI PCC. Will they continue to assess my application for other things or just wait. Does it give any indication about rest of the things ? I mean it's only FBI or there can be other issues also. These 5 month later rejections are scary. I was of the impression that no news is good news. And it's just matter of time and silence means all is positive otherwise they must have figured out mistakes till now. This is all so scary.
Waiting desperately for my GCMS notes. Expecting those around 15 Jan
Good luck guys

Its strange that only outlanders and PNPs are left out...Do you guys think that we are all rejected cases??? :'( :'( :'(

Absolutely not. There is no reason to reject every PNP and outlander. We are just in a separate upcoming batch.

Yes. In your letter the officer must have stated your new score.

Hello Amit,

U have a option of making a new profile and wait for the ITA, and by the mean time contact WES about the education credentials report....and confirm with them that your masters is equal to Canadian masters or not......if yes then thy ll change their report....

I had decripencies in WES REPORT I CONTACTED WES AND ASKED THEM FOR CORRECTION, NEW REPORT WAS MAILED TO ME BY WES IMMEDIATELY.

I feel you made a mistake when you applied for PR application you should have checked your WES report AND ACTED ON IT PROMPTLY.....
I DONT WANT TO SOUND RUDE BUT ....

I feel there is still hope you can get this mess fixed....

GOOD LUCK....

Be optimistic.. All the rejected cases are due to incomplete information/ wrong documents or missing PCC...so if you have all the information submitted there is no chance to reject.

My guess would be that your eligibility is probably passed and therefore you were asked this additional PCC as part of admissibility, hence you were given additional time to get it. If I recall correctly you were asked the PCC even though your stays were less than 6 month. That is why I think you were asked as part of admissibility which is one of the last things before a decision and it is the VO's prerogative to ask any additional PCCs that he/she may deep appropriate.

Regardless, you will get your GCMS notes in a few days and hopefully find confirmation in those in terms of eligibility passed. Either way please share the results of your notes with us, will help us understand the process better.
