Hi

Category FSW out land

ECAS (turned in process around 27 September)
Received application, 22 August
Sent Correspondence, 22 August
Started processing, 25 August
Medical Received, 14 October

I think CIC ask for additional documents or explanation before medical received update?

I am a CEC Inland applicant and had a couple of questions -

1) The letter that was sent in my account as part of the invitation to apply states that you have been invited to apply under FSW. This, despite the fact that my eligibility for CEC was met and I could see that on my express entry profile page.
Anyone else having the same issue?

2) When I was submitting my documents, I did not receive my PCC from USA and had stated the same in the explanation letter. I have received the PCC now.
How can I send this CIC now? I was reading on the website that if documents have been submitted online, then do not send any documents to the CIC office.

Thanks in advance !

ITA: 26th June
Application Submitted: 23rd August

Background Check (In Progress) 31st August

if you are eligible under both FSW and CEC category then they usually invite people under FSW only.

if they ask for it then they will provide the place to upload it in your cic account if you still want to send them without them even asking for it then you can send it by making a CSE.

Thanks in advance !

Yup... Its same for me

Thanks Shanksw007 !

So as far as the proof of funds is concerned, even though we are working in Canada and qualify for CEC, we would still need to maintain the required balance (referring to the CIC page for proof of funds) in our accounts - Assuming CIC could ask for a proof again ÉÉ

Application approved and closed. I should get my passport back by Friday.

Passport received by CIC on Oct 8th .

Yes, that's right but so far very few of CEC people have been asked for POF and it even says that for CEC it's not a requirement to show POF.

CEC candidates do not need to show proof of funds or "maintain the required balance". That's not true! See link below

"Unless you are currently authorized to work in Canada and have a valid job offer from an employer in Canada, or you have been invited to apply under the Canadian Experience Class, you must show that you have enough money to support yourself and your family after you get to Canada".

Thanks Shanksw007 & martinsdaddy !!!!

I guess my case a little different since I was invited under the FSW category (although I satisfied the CEC eligibilty too since I am currently working in Canada for over a year). And since I do not have a valid job offer, I would not satisfy any of the conditions stated in your text.

So then that would mean I should be maintaining sufficient balance in my accounts to satisfy the proof of funds requirement till the process is completed ?
