okay, well that happened to me once. I got an email saying your application has been updated but it took 1 full day for the update to actually show.
what is ECAS now ?
I have another question, i am not sure if you have answer for this. I am applying for Bridge open work permit. My permit expires next month, even though i haven't received AOR someone on this forum told me to go ahead and still apply for it. They did it and were able to get Bridge work permit.
I have to submit letter from my employer. Can i use the same i used when applying for PR, it is dated july 15 or should i ask my employer to change the date?

Looks like they are working on aug 8 to aug 10 candidates we are next maybe hope for best..

I'm so sorry to hear that. It is very difficult to have to deal with a refusal (I say this as I have experience). I remember you said that you got a scary update when your background check went from "in progress" to "not needed at this time." I also remember that they started to process your application on Aug 12th. Could you provide more details about your file? For example, did you have an LMIA and ECAS status?
I hope you can rectify the problem with your job offer and apply again.

Haven't posted anything in ages, but definitely following and keeping myself up to date with what's happening. This forum has been quite helpful to me for the last couple of years. AOR: Aug 6
Application/profile status: Open
Review of Eligibilty: Review in progress
Review of medical: Passed
Review submitted doc: Provided (Requested PCC Sept 1, provided on Sept 23)
Background check: Not needed at this time
Final Decision: Not started

Fingers crossed maybe tomorrow or next week. We would hear from them..

Yes, our timeline seems exactly the same.
The problem is we didn't receive any emails, just when I logged into MyCIC, I've ceen status updated but no actual updates on the application. Still no emails or anything.

So we received 2 messages on the account. None of them was decision made. One is request for schedule A for principal applicant, the other is fairness letter asking to provide medical exam for non accompanying family members (children from previous marriage) or letter of explanation. Which we did when submitting application. So I'm not really sure what to do and how now. We have 7 days top provide those.
The only difference is that letters were send from cpc Ottawa. So far it would only said cic gc at the end of the letter.
