Are you sure they didn't send the PPR to the wrong e-mail? I would call CIC and verify they haven't asked for a passport. You only got 30 days after they do.

So the wrong email i provided doesn't exist that was why they sent out a CIC letter on Jan 8th asking me to confirm my valid address. and then i uploaded the right email address file onto the application. Do you think i still need to call them and confirm this? many thanks!!

I would still call them. CIC is known for weird stuff. Some people have even reported CIC sent letters to their previous consultant from many years ago who didn't have to do anything with their app. Looks like their system is automatically sending out the e-mail after DM and starting the 30-day clock.

Did you get GCMS notes by any chance?

Many thanks Canadaistheway, I made the call today and they said they can't do anything but ask me to wait. I told the agent about my situation and he said apparently the officer has noticed my mistake in email address and therefore asked me to upload the new email address.

I haven't ordered my notes yet but will do now. thank you for your advice!

There is another thread where everyone has it gone back to not needed. There are different theories but the common theme is that it should not be anything to be worried about. If one officer transfers to other e.t.c the status can change.

Don't worry about it, just hang on and hopefully you will get PPR soon without a lot of wait.

Amit, in your case since it's your second application they would have done almost everything earlier so there is a high chance that your application gets on the superfast track this time. Good luck buddy!!

Got this email today :

Visa application, tracking ID No.XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX has been received by the Canada Visa Office, Singapore on 02/02/2016 and its under process.

Those who already got visa, can you tell me how much time needed to return passport after this update? Really need to know.
