Question, I got an email saying "The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete. You must complete the following steps within 30 days in order for our office to issue your Confirmation of Permanent Residence and, if applicable, permanent residence visa. If for any reason you are not able to meet this deadline, please inform us immediately by email to: CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca with details concerning your situation."

And asking me to update my application with any recent changes (criminal, marriage etc.) and to send them my passport if necessary. Does this mean they have processed my case? OR is this an automatic email everybody gets a month before the deadline of their 6 months processing time, comes around?

When I went on MyCIC, FinalDecision was "Not Started" and everything else was still "In process" "Not started" etc. Any ideas?
