Stuck in NA since late June
I called CIC last friday and the agent tell me that my file is was not processing in Canada but in LVO - Paris, so she can not give me any answer or tell me about eligibility and ...
So i mailed LVO-Paris and their replay was very quick.

"We have received your email. Please note that your file is currently being forwarded to our office. We will contact you as soon as an action is required from you. If you have provided us with documents, they will be uploaded to your application. In the meantime, we will not respond to your status inquiries."
What can i inderstand ?

At least they replied. NDVO is worst haven't heard from them since last 2 months of CSE or mail.

Got a similar response from my LVO last month, simply means your file is in queue to be treated

@Zifrit, Paris LVO is notoriously slow recently. Let's hope they will speed up a bit now in the fall.

Review of eligibility : We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results : You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents : The additional documents you uploaded are being reviewed.
Interview : You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics : We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check : We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision : Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

RCMP uploaded - May 11, 2017
Since May 1st, 2017 my background check is stuck at " We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information. " From what I know it never went to NA.

I called IRCIC today and they said they are still processing my application.. The agent didn't provide any other information.

Are the applications processed within the 6 months or it can longer than 6 months? I am completing 6 months on October 8th. Should I be worried or do you guys think I will receive PR before that ?

I didn't apply for the GMS notes. I saw in on of the threads that it takes 30-40 days for the notes to come and I am completing 6 months in 24 days. I don't know if its worth applying for the notes. From what I understand, if CIC crosses the 6 months mark they have to give a reason why the application is not processed yet. Is that true?

I don't know that but I already applied for GMS notes.I will get it next week. I will let you know.

I strongly suggest you to request for GCMS notes.Even if it takes time(~30 days), apart from the status, you will also get to see the actual notes the CIC officer has on record for your file. If they are concerned with any specific document and doing more investigation on that document, you can proactively raise a CSE and upload a clarification/updated document to make it easy for the officer to make decision.

I have seen this happening in one of the forum members who was around ~6 months mark and upon GCMS notes, he proactively submitted an updated job reference letter as the GCMS notes stated that they need to check on job duties and he was able to get PPR soon after the CSE.
