Congratulations on PPR. Please share if you or your employer were contacted by VO?

Hi @legalfalcon, hope you doing great. I have been a silent member of this forum but it helped me a lot to my knowledge upto an extend in understanding how cic works.
I have a question for you, I am AOR Apr06 CEC inland, I called CIC couple of weeks ago and the call centre agent told me my criminality and medical are passed and they are working on my work experience to make sure I meet all the requirement under CEC which is UNDER REVIEW. Is it normal for everyone or I am the special case? She also said once they finish the assessment they will be able to make a final decision.
Thank you.

What is your bg check line in mycic right now?
It's a little bit long for u if your eligibility is still under review. I recommend you to order GCMS note.

Yes. It was NA from beginning.
Oh woa, that's weird. I guess as the agent said, your application is still in progress and somehow the officer didn't update on MyCIC. I think you should order GCMS note because you will know what happen to your application.

I already passed 5 months since AOR and if I order now it will take 30 to 40 days for me to get my GCMS notes. I think I'll here something from CIC before that. And when I called she didn't say anything like they are doing some verification.
I have my friends whose BGC was NA since beginning until they moved to IP2 and some got ppr with same NA status.

Hey guys! Congrats to those who got their PPR!

Just wondering if someone here who is CEC INLAND did their landing on Niagara? Can we still do a u turn there? Also, do we still need to bring the proof of funds or just recent pay stubs from our current work?

My friend tried to land at rainbow bridge but he failed. He came there 7h45 and only 2 ppl came before him. CBSA told him they got enough for today. So...he had to leave. Then after that day, he successfully landed at 1k island.

I was called by my local visa office, so it was a local number... and the interview was impromptu, no prior notice

I was asked questions about my responsibilities, she basically picked three of the responsibilities and asked me to explain in detail what i do and my reporting relationship to my firm's management
She also asked why i choose the province i decided to settle in, and at the end asked me if i had questions, and of course I asked when a decision will be made)))) she simply said very soon
I have a missed call from a local number titled Ontario Government. Can you share what the number is? Thanks
