for those who stuck in ip2 for too log, I recommend u call them at least 1 (like after 20 days) and ask them if you miss or lost ppr email or not.

*ask them straight to the topic, don't go around like how is my app, is there any negative ...or is it approved

Finally got my PPR team! I just received an email from CPCO - Ready for Visa - Final Notice...
Thanks everyone for your help since I joined the forum and for keeping my hope alive all this time. I will provide another update soon.
Congrats to everyone else who got it and to the rest, stay positive. You have worked hard for it; our hard work and determination always pays off in a positive way.

And please do not rely on your CIC account. That timeline will not update until you do your landing. Keep checking your inboxes, junk folders, and call CIC customer support to get the status. They told me 2 days ago that my application was approved that same day.

Hello everyone, I am trying to check my application status in the Client Application Status tool. It shows an error. Shall I contact the local visa office or CIC? Or it is not possible to see the status in cas for an online application.

I remember the first day that I started getting EE tips from this forum and you it was helpful. I thought the Canada journey was far fetched.

Thank you as I got the PPR mail yesterday. Yaayyyyyy I am excited
:D:cool::)

The MyCIC status updates have no relevance and neither do they depict what stage your application has covered. Some applicants get a PPR at IP1, other as soon as they reach IP2, and some keep lingering in IP2 for weeks. It is important see whether your application has cleared eligibility, which is the most important and after eligibility the BGC starts.

Each application have to go through the following stages:

R10 completeness check
Criminality
Medicals
Eligibility
Security

The My cic status messages do no reflect what stage your application has reached. Any movement in the Mycic status messages is a good sign.
To read on different stages of the application see https://www.getgcms.com/blog/express-entry-application-processed/

My Background check status changed today from "Not Applicable" to "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information'.

Should I expect PPR next week?

(P.S.: Made a typo in my timeline earlier. Background check status changed to 'Not Applicable' on 27-08-2017)

Usually the BGC is the last stage, and change is a step forward.

HELP!!! Hello guys, I received a PPR (in my CIC account) and was asked to also submit an "Updated Information Chart" that was to be sent as an attachment. Since there were no attachments, could i find the "Updated Information Chart" online?? Or if someone has it could they please share ?

So I just realized something and I think I'm screwed, I was in the US for 2 months in 2008 (June-Aug), and then for another 5 months (Feb-July) in 2009, and it seems that I had to add the FBI certificate to my submitted files, which I didn't coz I thought it's only above 6 months...
The thing is, the dates are listed in the LOE only, not in the travel history page because it was too small....

I've just send a request to the FBI for a PPC, but it will take about 2-3 months and I'm already 4 months after AOR...anyone knows something about this kind of situation?
